How The Extension Works
When you use the extension on a YouTube video, it can prepare a prompt for Gemini and store the current request state and generated chapter data in your browser's extension storage so the feature works correctly.
- The stored data stays locally in your browser.
- No remote database or developer-owned server is used by this project.
- The extension only uses the minimum browser permission needed for local storage.
Third-Party Services
This extension may open and interact with Gemini as part of the summary workflow. If you choose to use that workflow, your use of Gemini is subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy, not this extension's policy.
This extension does not control how third-party services process data once you are on their websites.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not rent your data. We do not transfer your data to advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.
